John "JC" Stout
DOB: 9-15-83

 

At 24 years of age, JC has raced since he was 11 and his accomplishments include:

  • At age eleven (11) began racing methyl-alcohol fueled race Karts at various tracks in Western New York State and Canada
     

  • Won three (3) championships in four Karting seasons
     

  • Qualified and raced Karts on national level in Charlotte, North Carolina
     

  • Graduated from the prestigious FinishLine Racing School's Advanced Course, Edgewater, Florida with a personal letter of recommendation
     

  • At age fifteen (15) became regular Pro Truck competitor at Wyoming County International Speedway

  • Won mid-season Pro Truck Championship
     

  • Won Full Season Pro Truck Championship becoming the youngest driver, 15,  in New York State to accomplish this
     

  • Finished fourth (4th) in overall season's points in the Late Model division
     

  • Received RNE Precision Best Rookie Driver
     

  • Received NASCAR ® weekly Racing Series driver's license at age sixteen (16) and raced Pro Trucks at Holland International Speedway
     

  • Won a qualifier and had several top five and top ten finishes
     

  • Received coveted Rookie of the Year Award
     

  • Nominated division's Most Popular Driver
     

  • Successfully completed Advanced Winston Cup Style Racing Course at the highly acclaimed Buck Baker Racing School, Rockingham, North Carolina with a personal letter of recommendation
     

  • During Holland International Speedway's Pro Truck season, won nine (9) qualifiers, (with six (6) in a row), a feature event and finished fourth (4th) in overall season points
     

  • Received Most Popular Driver Award
     

  • Received Most Improved Driver Award
     

  • Nominated Most Sportsmanlike Driver
     

  • At eighteen (18) years of age ran a Late Model race car throughout Western New York State and Pennsylvania rather than getting involved in a single track's Season's points chase.  Had seven (7) wins and numerous top five and top ten finishes

  • April 11, 2003 At nineteen (19) years of age qualified for entry into NASCAR ® Craftsman Truck Series race first time out at Martinsville, Virginia
     

  • April 12, 2003 Raced in first NASCAR ® Craftsman Truck Series race in Martinsville, Virginia.  Started 30th out of 36 competitors and was running 27th through 138 laps.  Officially finished 31st
     

  • June 27, 2003 Qualified 25th out of 39 trucks at the historic Milwaukee Mile- in only his 2nd qualifying attempt at the professional level
     

  • June 28, 2003 Participated in the NASCAR ® Craftsman Truck Series GNC Live Well 200 in West Allis, Wisconsin, officially finished the race in 19th position
     

  • September 12, 2003 Qualified 30th out of 37 entrants at New Hampshire International Speedway, Loudon, New Hampshire
     

  • September 13, 2003 New Hampshire 200- raced from 30th position to 21st position in just 38 laps before experiencing hydraulic clutch problem forcing him out of the race
     

  • September 27, 2003 Traveled to Las Vegas-out of 53 entrants attempting to qualify for the Las Vegas 350, he out-qualified 20 competitors but missed the starting field by only .027 of a second  
     

  • May 14, 2004 Started the day 39th fastest in practice but improved to 22nd fastest out of 47 entrants by the end of the practice session in Mansfield, Ohio
     

  • May 15, 2004 Qualifying was cancelled due to rain.  Starting grid determined by points.  Limited racing schedule meant not enough points to start race.  Was one of eleven who missed the grid, even though he was faster than 13 trucks who actually took the green flag
     

  • June 18, 2004 Qualified 36th out of 43 trucks at Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis, Tennesee
     

  • June 19, 2004 Finished 30th in the NASCAR ® Craftsman Truck Series O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 in Memphis, Tennesee.  Fought a handling problem all day
     

  • April 30, 2005 Traveled to Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois. Unable to qualify into the Dodge Ram Tough 200 due to mechanical problems

  • June 24, 2005 JC qualified into the Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 at the historic Milwaukee Mile in Wisconsin. JC was 35th in the starting grid and finished 30th

  • August 13, 2005 Despite very little practice time, JC stuck his second qualifying lap to earn the 34th starting position into that day's Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Super Speedway in TN. Highest position held during the race was 28th before a rear gear broke. His final position was 31st

  • September 17, 2005 Gained nearly half a second and two positions in two practice sessions the previous day. Heavy overnight rain made for a very slick "green" racetrack for qualifying. A spin in turn 2 on the first qualifying lap sent the truck into the outside wall resulting in a DNF"

  • April 29, 2006 Traveled to Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL where unrelenting rain and storms forced practice and qualifying to be cancelled. Did not have enough points to get a starting grid position

  • July 8, 2006 Improved 3 seconds and over 6mph from final practice to his qualifying run earning the 33rd starting position in the Built Ford Tough 225 at the Kentucky Speedway. Raced clean and finished all 150 laps to a final position of 29th despite an underpowered motor

  • August 12, 2006 Secured the 31st starting position in the Toyota Tundra 200 in Nashville, TN after improving nearly 5mph from the previous day's abbreviated practice. Finished 116 of the 150 laps of the race in 32nd place after losing the clutch

  • August 23, 2006 Successfully completed the twelve week Dale Carnegie Effective Communications and Human Relations Course, Rochester, NY

  • September 16, 2006 Qualified into the New Hampshire 200 in Loudon, NH in the 36th position. Charged through the field and avoided mishaps before an electrical issue limited his finish to the 28th position

  • October 21, 2006 After qualifying into the 36th starting position for the Kroger 200 in Martinsville, VA the day prior, advanced eight positions to finish all 200 laps in the 28th position. Sucessfully avoided all cautions and progressively improved the truck's handling to accomodate for changing track conditions.
  • May 18, 2007 Qualified into the 33rd starting position at Lowe's Motor Speedway despite only 20 laps of practice on a track that was completely foreign. Finished 26th in the Quaker Steak & Lube 200 Presented by Circle K losing only one lap to the leaders on the track and avoiding all seven cautions.

  • June 16, 2007: Qualified in his first ever attempt at Michigan International Speedway into the 35th starting position of the NASCAR® Craftsman Truck Series Michigan 200. Completed all but approx. 20 laps of the race competetively before experiencing engine failure. Final scoring position was 31st.

  • July 13, 2007: Two rounds of practice proved JC to be consistanly running 29th fastest out of the 36 registered teams at Kentucky Speedway.

  • July 14, 2007: Qualified into the 29th starting position for the Built Ford Tough 225 in Sparta, KY. Finished the entire race despite significant clutch issues and found the finish line in 24th place.

  • August 11, 2007: Qualified 35th into the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. Later the same evening, finished the race early in 31st after encountering an oil leak/motor problem.

  • September 15, 2007: Qualified into the 34th starting position based on points and attempts due to rain cancelling the time trials. Finished all of the New Hampshire 200 in Loudon, NH in 29th place.

  • May 16, 2008: Qualified into the 24th starting position in the NC Education Lottery 200 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in only his second attempt at this track. Final position was 30th.


  • May 30, 2008: Qualified 32nd into the AAA Insurance 200 NASCAR® Craftsman Truck Series race at Dover International Speedway. Finished 31st after a chassis malfunction precipitated a race ending accident. Highest position held on the track was 23rd.


  • May 31, 2008: Made career first NASCAR® Nationwide Series start in the Heluva Good!® 200 at Dover International Speedway for JD Motorsports. Qualified 32nd of 44 cars. NASCAR® required Stout to start the race in the rear of the field (43rd). Final position held was 38th secondary to mechanical issues. Highest position held on the track was 34th.


  • June 6, 2008: Started the #36 NASCAR® Craftsman truck for the Mittler team at Texas Motor Speedway. Started 35th and finished 34th due to an early vibration.


  • June 14, 2008: Started the #07 NASCAR® Craftsman truck for the ASI Limited Chevrolet team at Michigan International Speedway. Started 33rd and finished 32nd after experiencing brake problems before the 15th lap. Highest position held on the track was 29th.


  • June 21, 2008: Made second career NASCAR® Nationwide Series start in the Camping World RV Rental 250 at the Milwaukee Mile. Qualified 30th of 48 cars in a must qualify on time situation. Finishing position was 40th due to brake failure.


  • June 28, 2008: Made third career NASCAR® Nationwide Series start in the Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Was 30th fast of 44 cars in practice but weather and track changes affected qualifying and Stout narrowly made the field in a must qualify on time situation. Started the race in 42nd position and finished 39th after experiencing engine trouble. Highest position held on the track was 36th.



    The number of 2008 season races the team will enter hinges on the availability of sponsorship as JC and the team would like to expand their racing schedule.
